The 2022 FIA WEC season may only be two races old but the fight for the title has already seen several shocking plot twists throughout the categories.

In the GT FIA World Endurance Drivers Championship, Porsche enjoys an 18-points gap over rivals Ferrari as the race for the title shapes up to be another classic encounter between the age-old rivals.
The title scrap for the GT FIA World Endurance Drivers’ Championship sees No.92 Porsche pairing, Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen hold a 14-points advantage over Spa winners Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado.
The closest title fight is in LMP2 as the WRT trio of Rene Rast, Robin Frijns and Sean Geleal sit atop the table but with just six points ahead of United Autosport USA’s Oliver Jarvis and Joshua Pierson.
Realteam by WRT’s Rui Andrade, Ferdinand Habsburg and Norman Nato are third and themselves just ten points behind the overall lead.
The LMP2 Pro/Am division sees the No.83 AF Corse crew of Alessio Rovera, Nicklas Nielsen and Francois Perrodo ahead by 21-points already after a perfect score of two wins and two overall class pole positions.
The LMGTE Am category’s FIA Endurance Trophy for GTE Am drivers crown is equally close, as the No.98 Northwest Aston Martin squad of David Pittard, Paul Dalla Lana and Nicki Thiim lead the way ahead of the chasing TF Sport team of Ben Keating and Marco Sorensen.
Dempsey Proton’s No.77 line-up of Harry Tincknell, Seb Priaulx and Christian Reid place third after their heroic win at Spa last weekend.
