24H Le Mans Virtual after 3 hours: Team Redline widens the gap
The third hour of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual saw a new leader with the No. 20 Team Redline entry heading the 30-strong LMP field (featuring Formula 1 drivers Max Verstappen and Lando Norris).
Below is a summary from the third hour of race action at #LeMans24Virtual.
LMP:
- Team Redline (No. 20) leads the LMP field as sim racer Atze Kerkhof widened the gap on the No. 16 Veloce Esports 2 LMP car. The gap between the top two cars is currently 21 seconds
- The No. 33 2 Seas Motorsport entry holds third position with sim racer Devin Braune at the wheel
- Pole-sitters ByKolles - Burst Esport climbed back up the leaderboard as sim racer Jernej Simoncic is now in eighth position
GTE:
- The two leading cars are separated by less than five seconds
- The No. 93 Porsche 911 RSR leads the No. 80 R8G Esports Team entry in a Corvette C7.R
- Sister No. 92 Porsche Esports entry is third overall, just ahead of the No. 63 Covette Racing car
