6H Spa 4 Hour Report: Toyota back in front; No.92 Porsche leads LMGTE Pro

Hypercar 
•    Toyota retakes lead in cat-and-mouse battle with Alpine after four hours of racing as Kamui Kobayashi takes over lead and has 22-second gap at front 
•    Alpine Elf Matmut spends time at front of field before Nico Lapierre is replaced by Matthieu Vaxiviere who immediately sets fastest lap on new rubber  
•    Drama in fourth hour as Jose-Maria Lopez in No.7 Toyota GR010-Hybrid makes contact with No.91 Porsche and damages front left bodywork.  
•    Alpine on schedule have to make one extra pit stop compared to Toyotas but Full Course Yellow at 3hrs 37mins mark allows short fuel stop to bring them back in to synch 
•    No.8 Toyota with Kazuki Nakajima aboard will have a five second penalty applied at next pit stop for blocking another car leaving pits during pit stop 
•    Nakajima aiming to reel-in Alpine and sits 13 seconds in arrears  
 
LMGTE Pro 
•    No.92 Porsche GT Team 911 RSR–19 driven by Kevin Estre in his second stint at the wheel continues to lead but with a reduced margin after Full Course Yellow period and some tyre difficulties 
•    No.51 AF Corse Ferrari driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi still leads the chase as places 11-seonds off Estre 
•    Second AF Corse driven by Miguel Molina still third place but No.91 Porsche loses time after being hit by N0.7 Toyota and suffering puncture 
•    Oliver Gavin completes final stints in illustrious 30 year international career as Corvette Racing continue to place in fifth position 

LMP2 
•    United Autosports USA extend lead in LMP2 class as Filipe Albuquerque stretches advantage in third hour before handing over to Fabio Scherer 
•    Scherer enjoys 58-second advantage over the chasing pack which is headed by No.26 G-Drive Racing Aurus 01-Gibson driven by double stinting Franco Calapinto 
•    United Autosports USA car given 5-second penalty for blocking competitor on leaving pit stop 
•    JOTA’s No.38 car forges through in to third position after rapid stint from Antonio Felix da Costa. Anthony Davidson takes over and makes inroads in to Calapinto during fourth hour 
•    Team WRT suffer clutch issues in fourth hour and make repairs during long stop which drops them out of contention 


LMGTE Am 
•    No.83 AF Corse Ferrari dominates mid-portion of race as Francois Perrodo and Alessio Rovera make clever strategy work to hold 24 second advantage 
•    No.33 TF Sport Aston Martin with Dylan Pereira in cockpit leads the chase in second position 
•    Cetilar Racing benefit from Full Course Yellow to stealthily climb up to third despite contact with Richard Mille LMP2 car
