Avis Budget Group renews partnership with FIA WEC and 24 Hours of Le Mans

Following a hugely successful first year of partnership with the FIA World Endurance Championship, Avis Budget Group has renewed its contract with the FIA WEC for another season.

Avis - a global provider of mobility solutions - will remain the WEC’s Official Vehicle Rental Services Premium Partner for the 2024 season, which comprises of eight events including the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Avis Preferred members will benefit from access to ticket prize draws to WEC races throughout the 2024 season, while local Avis stations will provide vehicles for WEC and 24 Hours of Le Mans employees staffing the events.

In 2024, the WEC will see a record-breaking 14 manufacturers competing in the Hypercar and LMGT3 categories as well as visiting a new continent with the addition of a race in São Paulo, Brazil. In the headline Hypercar class, Alpine, BMW, Isotta Fraschini and Lamborghini will join Cadillac, Ferrari, Peugeot, Porsche and Toyota to fight for the ultimate endurance crown.

This year, the WEC will continue to use 100% renewable fuel. Building on a vision shared by the WEC and Avis Budget Group to prepare for a sustainable mobility future, Avis's electric and hybrid fleet will be available as an option for fans as well as those managing logistics for WEC and the race teams to travel sustainably to each event.
