Where to watch the Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain
The penultimate round of the FIA WEC – the Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain - will get underway later this week (29-30 October) and will be televised by several major broadcasters including Eurosport, Fox Sports and La Chaine L'Equipe.
For those that are unable to experience the WEC’s first-ever double-header in person, there are still plenty of opportunities for fans to watch the action live from home including via the official FIA WEC app. Saturday’s 6 hour race will commence at 11h00 local time.
Across Europe, Eurosport will show the full six hours live which includes France, UK and in Germany. Free-to-air TV channel La Chaine L’Equipe will show the entire race live (as well as on L’Equipe.FR).

The FIA WEC app will also broadcast action from qualifying and the full six hour race plus exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and interviews. The app is available worldwide (apart from USA and Canada where it is geoblocked) and has English commentary on its live transmissions, with Allan McNish giving his expert insights. McNish will be joined by experienced commentary duo Martin Haven and Graham Goodwin while Louise Beckett and Duncan Vincent will support the team from the pitlane.
Elsewhere in Europe, the race will be shown live in its entirety on Polsat – fantastic news for fans of Robert Kubica who can watch their home driver who will compete for High Class Racing in Bahrain. Various other TV channels will show the action in Europe, the full list can be downloaded HERE.
MotorTrend – a linear network dedicated to auto enthusiasts – will broadcast the first and last 90 minutes of the race live in the USA and the Caribbean, as well as post-race on MotorTrend network. The full race will be shown live in Canada on Discovery Velocity.
Residents in South America can watch the race via Fox Sports 3. Eurosport will also broadcast the full race live pan Asia-Pacific and in Australia. Meanwhile, Super Sport will air the full race live as part of a pan-regional deal in Africa.
Finally, J Sports will broadcast the full race on a slight delay to Japanese fans who can tune in to see home drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Kazuki Nakajima fighting for the World Championship title in Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Hypercar. In New Zealand, fans can watch home driver Brendon Hartley live via Sky.
For the rest of the world, there will be various TV channels and online platforms that will broadcast qualifying, the race and/or highlights.
