Race day at Monza! Welcome back to our fans
It’s race day at Monza and best of all, the fans are back!
The green flag for round three of FIA WEC, the 6 Hours of Monza, will be dropped at 12h00 local time for the WEC’s inaugural race in Italy.
Toyota Gazoo Racing locks out the front row with its pair of Toyota GR010 Hybrids, with Team WRT taking pole out of the LMP2 crews. The No. 92 Porsche GT Team will lead the LMGTE Pro crews, while TF Sport is on pole in LMGTE Am.
Three cars will start on the back of the grid today including the No. 28 JOTA plus the No. 83 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo due to a non-compliance with the technical regulations at post-quali scrutineering. Elsewhere, Iron Lynx’s No. 60 Ferrari will also start from the back for not setting a time during qualifying (the team were carrying out lengthy repairs following their incident in FP2).
