The fourth episode of WEC Full Access is now live giving fans behind-the-scenes insights from the biggest WEC race of the year, the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Giving fans a fascinating insight into the FIA WEC’s biggest teams and drivers, WEC Full Access covers everything from team briefings to heated mid-race discussions. It is the ultimate YouTube series which documents the most private areas of the WEC paddock.
Episode four focuses on a few poignant storylines including the heroic efforts of Hertz Team JOTA who had less than 48 hours to rebuild the No. 12 Porsche 963 following a heavy crash in free practice. The WEC Full Access crew follow the team’s efforts in rebuilding the car in time for the 24 hour race on Saturday, normally a feat that would take up to two weeks.
The episode also follows several drivers including Porsche Penske’s Laurens Vanthoor who is staying onsite with his family in a campervan, capturing moments during the race as the Belgian driver attempts a short amount of sleep between stints.
There’s also plenty of behind-the-scene moments showing this year’s official race starter, football legend Zinedine Zidane, plus interactions between various WEC drivers and Formula 1’s Pierre Gasly, who was a guest of Alpine Endurance Team for the weekend. There’s also exclusive interviews with two of WEC’s biggest names this year including Valentino Rossi and Jenson Button.
The episode also covers drivers’ briefings including instructions from WEC race director, Eduardo Freitas. The on-track action – featuring day and night footage - is coupled with valuable insights from 2014 FIA WEC champion Anthony Davidson, as well as a rare view into the official commentary box.
