FP2 8H Bahrain: Hartley on top again while Ferrari to the fore in LMGTE Pro

New Zealand’s Brendon Hartley sets quickest lap in Toyota GR010 Hybrid for second succession running in FP2 at Bahrain.

The No. 52 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Pro is on top in LMGTE Pro as Daniel Serra sets a best time of 1m57.569s. 

Racing Team Nederland fastest in LMP2, and LMGTE Am is led by No.77 Dempsey Proton Porsche.

Hypercar  

  • Toyota Gazoo Racing 1-2 again in Friday morning session at Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain 
  • Brendon Hartley’s early session 1m47m.673s lap leads sister No.7 car by 0.5s and laps 0.8s faster than yesterday’s evening session best 
  • Kamui Kobayashi is fastest driver in No.7 car on a 1m48.200s as it aims to take back-to-back titles tomorrow

LMGTE Am
