Another large crowd, following yesterday’s impressive attendance, is making its way in to the paddock and fan zone areas in readiness for the second edition of the 6 Hours of Mexico presented by AT&T.
A collective ‘Hola’ and ‘Viva Mexico’ was starting to echo throughout the atmospheric Circuito Hermanos Rodrigues this morning as race day dawned on the fifth round of the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship.
With a pit walk and autograph session for the fans to meet and talk to their heroes the atmosphere is again sure to be highly charged, perfectly reflecting the legendary and passionate Mexican race fans.
Just as the Aztec gods once ruled watched over this beautiful county, today it is the weather gods that will be consulted as the forecast indicates variable conditions which are sure to promote yet more on-track drama.
With a remarkably close qualifying day yesterday throughout the four classes, the expectation levels are high for another fascinating duel at one of motorsports greatest amphitheatres today.
