One month to go until Le Mans!

In just one month’s time, the fourth round of the FIA WEC – the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans – will get underway (15- 16 June).

With Le Mans offering 50 championship points for the win, the fourth round of the WEC can often prove crucial in the overall World Championship title fight.  In the FIA Hypercar World Endurance Manufacturers’ Championship, it’s Porsche that currently lead the way with 83 points – 23 points ahead of Toyota in second place. Ferrari are third with 49 points. Nineteen of the 23 Hypercar entries at Le Mans are eligible to score World Championship points.

There will also be 23 LMGT3 cars competing at Le Mans (18 of which will score WEC points) and 16 LMP2 cars will complete the 62-car grid.

Race week will kick off at the circuit on Tuesday 11 June for an autograph session, a pit walk and the Pit Stop Challenge.

Wednesday (12 June) will see free practice sessions for the support races as well as the first Free Practice and Qualifying sessions for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The week’s first concert will take place at the circuit that evening.

Thursday will feature the highly anticipated Hyperpole session at 8pm.

Like Tuesday, Friday 14 June will be all about the fans. From 3pm, spectators will have the opportunity to step onto the track of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Anyone can come along and explore the track on foot or using an eco-friendly form of transport, such as a bicycle, a kick scooter or rollerskates. Meanwhile, the celebrated Drivers’ Parade will begin at 4pm in the centre of Le Mans.

Saturday 15 June will see the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans at 4pm. As usual, there’ll be plenty of entertainment in the lead-up to the main event, including a series of support races such as Road to Le Mans and the arrival of the French flag, flown in by helicopter.

There are still some limited LM24 tickest available, for more info click HERE.
