Le Mans Ultimate adds LMGT3 and Interlagos to online offering
Players of Le Mans Ultimate – the official game of the FIA World Endurance Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans – can as of today (10 December) get their hands on one of four LMGT3 cars and test their mettle around Brazil’s legendary Interlagos circuit.
As part of Motorsport Games’ biggest service update thus far, 2024 Season Pack 3 DLC introduces LMGT3, which successfully joined the real-life FIA WEC package for the first time this year. With recognisable and relatable cars and handling options ranging from easy-to-drive to hard-to-master, the ultra-competitive category is sure to be a strong favourite amongst sim racers.
The upgrade includes the BMW M4 LMGT3, Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R and Ferrari 296 LMGT3, as well as the McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo, which is available to download for free to all early access subscribers. Each car, painstakingly modelled by Studio 397, comes with its own unique configuration and driving characteristics, promising an exciting and absorbing challenge that will appeal to new and existing players alike.
At the same time, São Paulo’s Autódromo José Carlos Pace – more commonly known as Interlagos – joins the Le Mans Ultimate roster of fast-and-flowing drivers’ tracks in the same year that it returned to the FIA WEC calendar following a decade-long absence from the world championship. Laser-scanned and featuring the level of detail expected of Studio 397 circuits, the iconic green, yellow and white kerbs are a rare and special sight in sim racing.
2024 Season Pack 3 can be purchased at an early access price via Steam for £13.99 / 16,99 € / $17.99. The 2024 DLC Season Pass similarly remains available, allowing players to access the latest content the moment it is ready. Priced at £39.99 / 45,99 € / $48.99, the Season Pass offers a saving of around 25 per cent compared to buying all four packs individually. Players who have already purchased the Season Pass will automatically receive the latest content when they update the game via Steam.
“We are incredibly excited to present the hotly-anticipated LMGT3 category along with a suite of enhancements,” commented Stephen Hood, CEO of Motorsport Games and Head of Studio 397. “We sincerely hope players enjoy this update as the passionate Studio 397 team continue to pour their hard work into making the FIA WEC experience the best it can be, with many more exciting updates planned for 2025.”
