The 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the most widely watched races in motorsport. Hundreds of thousands of people at the circuit will be joined by fans from all over the world following the action on TV, online or via 24H Le Mans, the official app for smartphones and tablets.
Saturday 17 June marks the start of the 85th running of the world’s greatest endurance race, round three of the FIA World Endurance Championship, which can now be watched by everyone, everywhere.
This year the coverage will come from 96 cameras, including 54 onboard cameras mounted in and on 16 cars to take fans right to the heart of the race, 14 cameras in the pits, one cable cam, and a slo-mo camera shooting 100 frames per second, plus the teams’ radio links, infographics and lots more.
Twenty-eight channels will bring live coverage or highlights of the 2017 24 Hours of Le Mans into homes all over the world. Viewers in France, UK, Germany, Belgium, Australia, China and elsewhere will have chance to see the main event in the FIA WEC calendar live, while networks in around 190 different countries will broadcast the iconic endurance classic to a potential worldwide audience of 802 million.
