The latest episode of WEC Full Access is now live on YouTube!
Episode three of the 2024 season is available on the FIA WEC YouTube channel in both English and French.
WEC Full Access is a behind the-scenes YouTube series giving fans exclusive insights from the FIA World Endurance Championship’s biggest teams and drivers. It reveals tears, heartache and celebrations as the YouTube series documents the most private areas of the WEC paddock.
The latest episode focuses on all the before, during and post-race action from round three of the season – the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
The 40-minute show starts with behind-the-scenes footage from the home of brothers Laurens and Dries Vanthoor, who alongside Laurens’ Porsche Penske Motorsport team-mate Andre Lotterer, prepare for their local race.
The cameras then follow the pre-race action including the elation for Iron Dames as Sarah Bovy secures pole position on her home race. We then move to race day itself where there’s plenty of on-board action including various angles from Cadillac Racing’s incident, which led to a lengthy red flag for circuit repairs.
Fans can then watch the various reactions from the teams and drivers as the race is eventually restarted and 1 hour 44 minutes remains on the clock – much to the delight of the record crowd of 88,180 fans that attended the race. Most happy of all, however, was Hertz Team JOTA who took their first-ever victory in the WEC’s headline class.
Throughout the season, WEC Full Access will take viewers inside the stories as they happened, letting fans experience the often stressful, but always entertaining, world of endurance racing… Don’t miss it!
