Last weekend saw the 2019 / 2020 FIA WEC season draw to a close with the 8 Hours of Bahrain, as well as marking the final event for the hugely iconic Toyota TS050 Hybrid.

FP1 was held under floodlights on Thursday evening
Friday’s quali saw the first pole position of Season 8 for the No. 98 AMR crew in GTE Am
The No. 7 Toyota car scooped an extra pole position point in the all-important drivers’ battle
And we go green in Bahrain!
Once again it was wheel-to-wheel race action in the GTE categories
While twilight hour provided some beautiful scenes…
In the end, Jackie Chan DC Racing took the LMP2 victory – the team’s first win of the season
And it was Gérard Neveu who waved the chequered flag after his 101st race event with LMEM…
Meanwhile, Kevin Estre and Michael Christen won in LMGTE Pro with the Porsche 911 RSR - 19
But it was Aston Martin Racing who won the 2020 GTE Pro teams’ and drivers’ trophies
The No. 7 Toyota crew took the LMP drivers’ title after finishing runner-up for the last two seasons
And it was all smiles for United Autosports after a dream season in LMP2
Cheers could also be heard from the AF Corse Ferrari garage after taking the 2020 GTE Am title
