6 Hours of Fuji: Don’t miss a minute on your screens!
Fuji Speedway is the venue for the fourth round of the FIA WEC’s Super Season, the 6 Hours of Fuji on Sunday 14th October, and spectators are guaranteed an exciting, unpredictable and action-packed race from the world’s premier endurance championship.
Many thousands of enthusiastic spectators are due to make the trip to Fuji to see their heroes compete, including the entire driver line up at Toyota Gazoo Racing for whom this is a home track, and also Jenson Button and André Lotterer who both have strong fan followings in Japan. No fewer than six Japanese drivers are among the line up for the Fuji event, so there’s local interest up and down the grid.

Asia Pacific
Japan’s J Sports channel will lead the coverage in the host country with live broadcasts of both qualifying and the race, plus delayed highlights being shown free-to-air to the 110 million viewers on BS Fuji’s channel. Kazuki Nakajima, Kamui Kobayashi and, of course, Fernando Alonso, will draw even more fans to this round – as well as local motorsport legends such as Satoshi Hoshino.
With Shanghai being the next round of the WEC, coverage has continued to grow in China with Sina.com, Tencent and CCTV5 broadcasting the action (exact details to be confirmed).
The 6 Hours of Fuji will also air live on Eurosport across the whole Pan-Asia-Pacific region with highlights being shown on Fox Sports Pan-Asia. Australia and New Zealand will also show the full race live on Eurosport and Sky respectively, plus highlights on Fox Sports’s Speedweek programme in Australia and on Taiwan’s ELTA channel.
Europe
With the +7hr time difference to central Europe, Eurosport’s full live pan-European coverage of the race will be via Eurosport Player. Motorsport.tv has now taken its full live coverage online and on demand, but there are plenty of other ways to watch the 6 Hours of Fuji and follow the action.
In France La Chaine L’Equipe will broadcast the full race LIVE, with live coverage also being shown in Belgium (RTBF.be), Denmark (TV2 Sport), Germany (Sport1), Netherlands (Ziggo Sport), Norway/Sweden/Finland (Viasat Sport), Poland (Polsat), UK (BT Sport). Check the TV distribution list and your local area for exact timings.
Highlights of the 6-hour race will also be broadcast in Spain, the Netherlands, Greece and Mediterranean territories, Turkey and the Baltic states.
The Americas
Velocity and Motor Trend in North America continue to bring focus and new TV fans to the WEC through live qualifying and race coverage, and their 214 million potential reach combines with Fox International’s equally impressive 59 million households in Latin America which will show the Japanese race live.
Africa
SuperSport’s and Fox Sports Pan Africa will show highlights of the WEC event – Fox Sports being a new addition to the TV roster for the WEC – increasing visibility of the WEC in this region.
Internet/OTT Mobile Broadcasts
Commentary in English will be available worldwide on all live transmissions and official WEC highlights shows, with multiple 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Allan McNish giving his expert insights on FIA WEC. The 2013 World Endurance Champion will be joined by Martin Haven, with additional support from Graham Goodwin and Louise Beckett.
