Record early ticket sales at Sebring!
First-day sales of tickets and parking for what is being called by Sebring Raceway the 2019 “Super Sebring” rose more than 314% over opening day ticket sales for the 2018 event.
A large percentage of reserved track-side parking spaces and Sebring’s premium ticket – Club Sebring – were sold on day one.
“The addition of the WEC’s 1000 Miles of Sebring to the legendary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring schedule is already proving to be a huge success,” said Wayne Estes, president and general manager of Sebring International Raceway.
“Our phones have been ringing non-stop and online sales have been amazing. We’re not only seeing a tremendous response from our returning fans but also a large influx of new fans from Europe and Canada alike. The activity we’ve seen is backing up our claim to this being one of the greatest weekends of sportscar racing in the history of the United States.”
Up to 20 hours of racing action from the greatest sportscars and drivers in the world will be available for fans. The WEC’s 1000 Miles of Sebring, approximately 8 hours of racing, will start at 3:55 pm on Friday, March 15. The next day, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will start in its traditional 10:40 am time slot.
