Last weekend saw the FIA WEC return to racing after a forced six-month break and what a comeback it was with non-stop action across all four categories!
The TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps saw four safety car sessions, both wet and dry track conditions, differing tyre strategies, some unbelievable overtakes and a mighty battle for supremacy in the LMGTE Pro and the LMP2 classes.
In the end, the No. 7 Toyota Gazoo Racing entry took the LMP1 victory (their third so far this season) while GTE honours went to the No. 92 Porsche GT Team – the first win for Michael Christensen and Kevin Estre since Fuji back in 2018.
Elsewhere United Autosports stormed to their third consecutive win after starting from pole position, while the No. 83 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo triumphed in LMGTE Am for the second time in WEC Season 8.
