Race day at Spa-Francorchamps!
After a six-month break from racing, the FIA WEC is finally back on track for Season 8 as the LMP and GTE classes prepare for today’s TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (13h30 CEST).
Earlier this week, the WEC teams and drivers gathered at the front of the pit garages with their cars in a socially distanced manner to show their support for the FIA’s #EndRacism campaign.
Despite the event being held behind closed doors, the WEC has been eager to remind its followers that the #WECRacesForYou by running a fan-focused campaign offering exclusive opportunities to the fans.
One hour before today’s race (12h30 CEST), the WEC will also hold a special Watch Party via Zoom inviting fans to join the pre-race atmosphere virtually – with some getting a chance to speak to some of the drivers before they head out on track.
