United Autosports and Vector Sport confirm driver line-ups

LMP2 teams United Autosports and Vector Sport have confirmed more drivers for their 2023 FIA WEC campaigns.

United Autosports have revealed that 18-year-old Frederick Lubin will join Phil Hanson and Filipe Albuquerque in the No. 22 Oreca 07 Gibson.

Following experience in Formula 4, British Formula 3 and Euroformula, British driver Lubin is making the move from single seaters to sportscars. He joins the Yorkshire-based team for his first endurance racing season – making his debut at WEC Sebring next month.

Meanwhile Vector Sport has confirmed Gabriel Aubry and Matthias Kaiser in the team’s No. 10 Oreca.

Frenchman Aubry comes to the team with a runner-up placing in the 2018-19 WEC season and 24 Hours of Le Mans (both LMP2) as the highlights to date of a successful sportscar career.  Alongside him will be Kaiser from Liechtenstein who moves onto the world stage after two years competing in the European Le Mans Series.

The 2023 WEC season gets underway with the 1000 Miles of Sebring next month (17 March).
